  1. Interesting video there. Its nice to see northern Somalia build progress towards a safe haven but lets hope its economy doesnt depend on khat solely lol.

In the video one of the brothers mentions he” would like to help his brothers in Somalia” but how does that help by differentiating yourselfes with a new nation?

  2. I agree with u dore, as much as i love to see somali-land in peace and harmony, its going to be hard for them to get their way, the majority of the country does not want to split. Last i heard or read Israel became the first country to recognize them, maybe its just propaganda.

  3. If being independent is what it takes to restore peace and stability, Somaliland has got my conditional vote. As long as they don’t forget we’re one people.

And lol at the khat business haha

  4. Somaliland got my vote too, I think they should just ignore the whole independence thing for now, focus on building the country,

They should get foreign investors and heavily invest in the place.
Find different ways to regulate khat.
Promote education & build more schools and universities.
Establish factories, industries etc that will provide jobs and income for people.
    and much more.

Eventually Somaliland will get to a level and it will be impossible to ignore them, so they will get their independence.

Btw, I think IF Somaliland changed its name to something a bit different, that it would help them in the independence process. Right now, Somalia and Somaliland is the same to the rest of the world as they sound almost the same? or am I wrong? I don’t know.

  5. Great documentary. I also share some of the sentiments made by the other guys. Focus on peace, prosperity and development. Having a seat at the UN is a trivial matter in the grand scheme of things.
